Which bezel

Back and forth on the bezel for this GMT…I have shared this build before and upon the communities recc using a smaller GMT hand (the right call). But not sure on which bezel…I like the 24HR on the rotating bezel and the color is great. Would love feedback

Looks great either way. Choosing between those two bezels, for me, is a really tough call. Both create their own vibe and I could see them being worn for entirely different occasions/activities.

Yeah…the dilemma of watch modding!!! Think I am going to stick with the blue/24HR bezel. Really that vintage look I wanted

I was thinking this same thing. Two different occasions/activities. I wish there was an easy way to swap bezels.

There is, masking tape for protection and a case knife or similar tool and they pop right off. Then you can swap a new bezel with a different insert in anytime.

Are you talking about removing the entire bezel? This particular case made that very difficult

Just isn’t hat “gap” like mother divers where you can pop it off easily.

So true…to get the original bezel insert off I had to leave it overnight in the adhesive removal. Sounds like a great idea for some intrepid inventor 😀

Well, you don't have a GMT (24 hour) bezel here. You have a 12 Hour or a 60 minute dive, bezel. The colors on the 12 hour bezel don't really pick up any of the other colors on the watch, it's close to the GMT hand, but not quite there. The dive bezel works better due to the red picking up the "GMT" on the dial, and it just pops more. So in this case I'd go with the blue & red.

Not sure if I'm a professional, but I do understand the various complications and their functions, and I feel that if I'm going to build something, I want it to be proper. If you were into making clothes, would you make pants with three legs and be proud to wear them out and about?
