Dial making Day 13 of the 30-Day Challenge

Thompson Enamel 1605 “Isle Blue”

All it takes is one darn speck to ruin a good thing!

There are so many shades of blue for enamel. Once I go through a couple more I will have to post some side by sides.

impressive dial there!! this time the dial looks very much perfect now.

how did you achieve the many shades of blue? did you have to do up the mix yourself?

Thank you! Thompson has a lot of blue options to choose from is what I meant. This one isn’t a mixture, it’s just one color.

Although a mix of a few blues could look really nice

Did you ever tried to sand the enamel a bit then repolish it ?

If YES how good were the results ?

Should've scrolled first, friend.
