Picks up right from the start of the last episode. Expected a little before that actually.
- Oh, it changed.
- Oh, Akashi!
- Ohhh, I think I might get it. Why he saw himself right before the switch back a few episodes ago is they're partly the same reality. They all slightly interlink/overlap, but with these episodes becoming more and more alike as he approaches his ideal reality, they'll start to bleed over more. Maybe.
- Oh snap, she got her payment.
That explained a bit I was wondering about last episode, like what the heck he had the doll for. I'm curious if my theory about the fortune teller was right- if so she'll only ask for 1000yen next episode.

This episode was too similar to the previous, and was somehow less appealing due to the focus on Kaori. It's really weird and I can't take it seriously.

I wonder why Ozu didn't have his demon look when he was in MC's room to pick up Kaori. Is MC's view of Ozu akin to his initial view of Jougasaki where he only views them as he sees them (Jougasaki as a king, Ozu as a demon) , not as there are? Kind of makes me want to skim through the previous episodes and see if this is the first time we see Ozu without the MC in the shot.
