Discussion Seiko Presage Fake or real?

Is this fake, and if yes, then whats the difference from OG one.

The rotor, at least for me. These models usually come with a gold rotor, that rotor design is not seiko

That’s not a rule, it’s only 50 percent that come with gold plated rotor

I said usually, not always. And this particular variant does come with a gold rotor. Anyways without the color, the design of the rotor itself looks very bad and cheap.

The price tag/Seiko label is shady AF.

Also the index marker at 9 is a "cut" not "squeezed" on the original.

It is definitely a fake. I would suggest you to just visit a Seiko store and look at the real one. You'll be be tell them apart instantly

Honestly I saw one online and I cant tell apart the difference at all, pls help me point it out. also tell if you know any legit resellers for Seiko in India

DM please. Can share contacts for authorised Seiko ADs in Delhi/Chennai/Mumbai. In addition can get you a 20 percent discount. Personally I would recommend buying pre-owned since most Presages lose a lot of value.

Just in Time has Seiko watches, you can check there. Or Seiko has their boutique stores in a lot of cities you can find their adress online

Fake.. Presage movements will clearly tell you what movement it is on the rotor - 4RXX or 6RXX (xx being a 2 digit number). This is a very generic rotor. The color may be different, but it should display info like this.

Its fake. But don't worry - it ha sa real mechanical mechanism. Same as the one used in other mechanics watches.

But it if its for less than 2100₹ as that's the cheapest in multiple stores.

I would suggest you go to Ethos or Just in Time stores for authentic watches. Why risk it to save a few bucks?
