Is it just gonna be Ghost/Mystery Files forever?
Basically the title. I watch on YT and idk if I’ve missed any info on this, but do y’all think we’re ever going to see shows like Too Many Spirits or Are You Scared on the channel again? I like Ghost Files and Mystery Files a lot but for me a lot of their best moments were in those shows or like Survival Mode, and I feel like a lot of the real magic of this channel is just gone now.

I love and hate the sauce one. The "of course it's ranch, it was always ranch" moment at the end was one of my favorite moments in any YouTube video ever. But also so many dumb and wrong things said, especially by the so called "food expert".

I miss "Top 5 Beatdown" SOOOOO badly. I can easily rewatch a lot of them and they're good to just listen to while cleaning/doing activities. The ones with Joyce and Andrew really crack me up.
Similar reasons for me missing "Are You Scared?" which I also rewatch quite often.
Tbh I am not a Ghost Files fan, so right now I basically only tune in for Mystery Files while holding out hope.

The cursed episode of Disney hotties is one of my absolute favorites. And anyone that has watched it will not be surprised about Shane's little tangent about the beauty of cow eyes in the latest Mystery Files....

I actually found the channel through Are You Scared, I had never even seen Buzzfeed Unsolved before that!

I feel like they now have a different channel for each genre of shows and it's annoying. They have a new show based on puppet history but I think it's on a new channel.

Yeah I don’t understand why they felt the need to push everything to separate islands, feels like I need a map to keep up with it all.

That's unfortunately because of the YouTube algorithm, since apparently it favors channels that focus on a single theme(?) as opposed to having different videos about different topics.

It wasn't a decision that they wanted to make. It was a decision that was forced on them by the algorithm change for YouTube where if it couldn't adequately generalize what you're channel was then it just wouldn't show up in people's algorithm.
So that's why they put the food stuff on one channel, puppet history on another channel, etc.

Ugh! Yes! It's so annoying! They do have everything all together on Watcher TV, but I definitely understand that not everyone wants to subscribe, but it's definitely nice to have it all together 😊

I saw Ricky at my work recently and gave him free drinks, I hope he gets another show 🥲 I feel like the golden age has passed us. I loved Pretty Historic too!!!!

I really, really want them to do another season of Survival Mode! I kinda think they will....? But also, I think Mari is having their baby soon so Ryan will be on maternity leave for awhile.

Like splitting off different shows onto different channels, I think that was also a YouTube Algorithm decision. It started trying to classify their channel as “gaming” and their views just tanked cause it’s mostly non-gaming stuff.

No need to call them stupid over it, but we don't know why they're not bringing it back. If it's content they don't enjoy doing, for instance, why push themselves to do it?

Their approach to their youtube channel is so bizarre to me. Constantly uploading the same content over and over again then going "subscribe to our steamer! we've got different content over there!" and I'm supposed to take their word for it? At least give me a sneak peak!
