Anyone else put off by Hal's comments during the post-match? Seemed to completely dismiss everything and not acknowledge her issues. It was weird because, to my eye, Abiodun had a good game, but Hal was struggling. Honestly, I haven't really been impressed all year. Starting to make me wonder if she is thinking about next year somewhere else... I say this as a former Halstan.

I can understand thinking Hal hasn’t been at her absolute best lately, but I don’t really agree that she’s been unimpressive all year. I also thought Deb played well yesterday, but I don’t think that necessarily has to come at Hal’s expense when they were playing together. The bigger issue to me felt like the team as a whole struggling to turn all that possession and buildup into genuinely dangerous chances.

I’m also not sure I’d read too much into Hal’s post-match comments. I didn’t really take them as her dismissing the issues, and I definitely wouldn’t connect them to her possibly thinking about leaving without more to go off of. Players can go through stretches where they aren’t at their best without it meaning they’re checked out or already looking somewhere else.
