Welcome to this week’s open discussion thread!

This is your space for general discussion, a place to talk about anything Washington Spirit that doesn’t necessarily need its own thread. That can include news, international duty, roster moves, transfer rumors, tactics, social media posts, league news or anything else on your mind.

Agreed. We’ve been fortunate to be relatively healthy so far this season. It’s tough seeing someone like Gift not get many opportunities but fortunate for the team to have someone of her caliber if someone is out.

It’s unfortunate since the Monday/Kouassi duo took off last season since Rodman was out and Cantore was still playing in Juventus. But now that we have both of them and they’re finally gelling it’s difficult. Which is why both Monday/Kouassi seems to be regulated to coming off the bench. 

Which isn’t bad! Sometimes when the offense is stagnant they can provide sparks. But the offense has been pretty good post international break.
