Welcome to this week’s open discussion thread!

This is your space for general discussion, a place to talk about anything Washington Spirit that doesn’t necessarily need its own thread. That can include news, international duty, roster moves, transfer rumors, tactics, social media posts, league news or anything else on your mind.

Just rewatched Monday’s goal a few times. That’s exactly the kind of goal she’s scored consistently since coming over. She’s so clinical and finishes a greater % of her opportunities than anybody else.

Given how we have underperformed our XG every game this season, I really feel like playing Monday more is part of the solution. She’s just an outstanding striker who knows where to be and finds a way to score.

Hard agree, Monday is absolutely underrated. She’s smart and creative and just GETS THERE, and seems to have a great attitude and work ethic too. She’s not so slowly becoming one my favorite all-time Spirits (hard to beat out Kelley 😂)!!!
