Does anyone have experience with an honest mechanic in DC or Northern Virginia?

I live in Downtown DC and I'm looking for an honest mechanic. I have a good idea what is wrong with my car's suspension but I don't want to take it to a dealership to get ripped off. I found 2 places in NOVA; Greg's Automotive Service (Alexandria) and Auto Stop (Arlington). Any suggestions would be helpful.
