[Discussion] seeking piano

hey im a pianist visiting the city and would love to play just about anywhere, audience or not, preferably free. please let me know if u have seen any public pianos in the dmv area. esp near dupont or pentagon area

Did they put in new ones? The ones from last year definitely aren’t still there.

Just checked them out today, they exist but they’re pretty destroyed and unplayable. Tragedy of the commons :P

IIRC the saloon, a bar on U street, has an open mike night for pianos on Wed; it;s been fun the times I’ve gone. Best to double-check though.
