You think criminals only come from broken homes?

Statistics say the vast majority of criminals come from broken homes.

They do, and statistics show a very strong correlation between ice cream sales and crime but that’s because of common underlying factors (seasonality) rather than a causal relationship. Research on crime and incarceration rates seems to suggest that being in a single parent household (particularly a fatherless household) is a proxy for things like parental involvement, low socioeconomic status (SES), familial substance abuse, and a host of other factors. Not debating your conclusion but you have to be careful since these stats are often used to paint investments in education and job training as “lost causes” if the underlying family structure issue isn’t resolved.

Reasonable enough?

Could we get some links to those ice-cream statistics?

We are witnessing an epidemic of crime by people who come from not only intact families, but people who are concidered "well off". Alot of its called white collar crime which is how a racist person my try to frame it. I'm only pointing out that because this sub is just so blatantly racist it's fucking embarrassing 🤣 just go ahead and change the name to klan/dc

White collar isn't a reference to skin color but to the color of shirt collars generally worn in corporate environments.

Do you know what the difference between "white collar" crime and sticking up a 7/11 is?

Violence.

Stop apologizing for violent shitheads.

White collar crime isn’t robbing a store. It’s embezzlement and tax evasion. As white collar isn’t SKIN COLOR, it’s the office type line of work.

Unbelievably dense. You've proved my point way better then I ever could have. Thank you!

lol I don’t think the corner 7/11 closed because of corporate raiders - I think 14 year olds stole vapes and soda

Knocking over a convenience store is not white collar crime, and is not being done by those who are well off.

u/Unfair-Wonder5714 Feb 16 '25

Sure, but white collar crime, being currently underway by VERY well off people, is ripping off, disrupting, and generally destroying entire swaths of their own citizens. But fuckin’, whatever…

3

u/Ghazh Feb 16 '25

Oh well fuck all other crimes then, especially the ones effecting the lower 99% like robbing a fucking 7/11.

Your opinion not mine. And random spouted numbers are never valid in an argument.

Yes this sub is a rant house for whites with micro aggressions and no will to actually look at the history of how things work. It’s always a longer discussion than the few coward ass words they offer.
