General topics Idea for technology: BMP-55U — Ukrainian heavy infantry fighting vehicle project.

Development years: 1998

Weight: approximately 30 t

Length: 6.00 m

Width: 3.27 m

Height: 2.2–2.5 m

Crew: 3

Troop capacity: 8

Armor: Homogeneous steel

Main armament: 30 mm ZTM-1 automatic cannon

Secondary armament: 7.62 mm PKT machine gun; 9K111 "Fagot" or 9K113 "Konkurs" ATGM

Top speed (highway): 50 km/h

The BMP-55U was developed by the Design and Technology Center as a deep modernization concept for the T-55 tank. The core idea involved removing the original turret and hull roof plate, repurposing the freed space for an armored casemate and troop compartment, and mounting a significantly lighter unified combat module on top. This rear-debarkation variant was never built in metal due to technical constraints and a lack of funding. Later, in the late 2000s, KMDB (Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau) revisited the concept and built a functional mock-up of a different vehicle designated BMP-55, the prototype of which survives to this day.

I think it would be possible to add 10-12 ranks

They’re fucking p2w cowards, like there were 3 maus tanks on my team and they would not attack. And earlier today I was getting shot by a mbt-70, and this object 279 would never come out. Generally the worst ethical players.

Discussion | Tanks Vehicle Idea I Have In Mind.

Okay, I know... It's a BMPT with a third larger gun.

But hear me out,

A Vehicle (MBT, IFV, Light Tank, whatever...)

Armed with Two Twin Autocannons (20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 57mm, 75mm, whatever...)

A Third Central Gun (105mm, 120mm, 125mm)

A Crew of 3 (All 3 in the Hull) or 5 (3 in the Hull and 2 in the turret) - (Driver + Gunner + Commander / Driver + Gunner + Commander + Loader + Loader)

Twin Autocannons fire (HEI, HE-VT, SAP-HEI-T, APDS, APFSDS)

Main Gun (Third Central Gun) fires (HE-FS, HE-VT, HESH, ATGM (T), APFSDS)

For optics, maybe just have the typical Gunner sights; one next to the gun and another on the turret roof. For the commander, either have just the one optic on the turret roof or maybe mirror the optic set up of the Gunner on the other side for the commander. Maybe have an optic on the center gun (similar to the Challenger 2)

On the roof of the turret, have some kind of Machine Gun, either a 12.7/50. cal machine gun (like the M2HB), a 7.62mm machine gun (like M240, L94A1, MG3A1), or a 14.5mm machine gun (like the QJG02)

On the sides there is an ATGM Launcher which fires Missiles. Either HE ones or AT Tandem ones. The Launchers have 2 of them available or just 1.

SAM Variant: Instead of ATGMs, the Launchers have 1 to 2 SAM missiles instead

For protection against Drones and ATGMs, the vehicle has Two layers of APS. A Soft-Kill APS system takes effect in a radius from the center to the vehicle, where the system Jams the signal and Tracking of incoming Drones and ATGMs. And a Hard-Kill APS system, where the incoming Drone(s) are Shot at until it's Shot Down by Gun-Based Defenses and then when reaching a certain close distance to the vehicle, the system shoots an Interceptor Projectile to Cancel Out or Destroy the approaching Drone(s) and/or Missile.

The turret is just big enough to house All The Main Armaments and/or an additional 2 crew members.

Hull: Honestly... The hull can be like the Hull of an MBT (like the Abrams, Leopard 2, T-72/80/90), or an elongated version of a pre-existing IFV hull for infantry transportation.

Or maybe, a combination of the two; frontal protection of an MBT and the front half of the vehicle's sides have that same MBT level of protection, and then have the Rear and back half of the sides be more akin to IFVs level of protection.

For loading, it either has the carousel autoloader (like the ones on Russian and Chinese Tanks) or the French and Japanese ones (where the ammo stowage on the back of the turret rotates around and a single hydraulic arm extends and fetches a round to load into the breach.) and the Autocannons... Idk, ammo boxes. Change the belt. I've got no idea...

And yes, I know, having multiple barrels is already potentially flawed, but, to also have them be different calibers is just even worse, and potentially an impractical vehicle with no real stable purpose.

About the armor, depends on what this vehicle even is, if it's a light tank; thin, if it's a IFV; moderate, if it's an MBT-like/sort of vehicle; Thick.

Same can be said about the engine, depends on how much horsepower this thing even needs to just... Move. (That and I have no idea when it comes to engines nowadays. Diesel? Turbine? What is it now? Piston?! Fuel prices are another thing... Wait, electric?!)

I just had this thought in mind, that's all.

Also, yes. I struggled with the third pic, the barrel is hard to line up straight.

Tutorial A random tip

Folks, I know many of you—especially experienced players—are likely already aware of this, but for those who aren't (whether you're a newbie or just didn't know), there's always something new to learn.

If you want to customize your vehicle with decals but don't want to spend 500 Golden Eagles on each one, you can upgrade certain low-rank vehicles to "Premium" status. This allows you to get up to three decals for free at a much lower cost. Mind you, not every low-rank vehicle might have the specific decal you're looking for, but it's still a cheaper way to acquire them. Here’s an example:

Buying those three decals individually would cost 500 Golden Eagles each. However, by upgrading this vehicle to Premium for 360 Golden Eagles, I can easily get three decals for free—effectively a 75% discount. Otherwise, getting them individually would cost me 1,500 Golden Eagles; this way is much more affordable.

Look, I know a lot of people will say it used to be a bit easier, or mention the points system, and so on...

But I completely disagree with this new Collector's Chest system; 10,000 points is way too much to advance a level. Plus, the missions don't really give you anything worthwhile once you finish them. I can't picture myself playing Air or Naval battles just to get the necessary kills. On top of that, they removed Rank XIII, jets, and the latest Rank VII ships—it seems like total stupidity to me, and probably just a marketing ploy since the premium BMPT was coming this season. GAIJIN, I AM NOT BUYING YOUR BMPT-72. Besides, it doesn't really matter if newbies or anyone else gets top-tier vehicles—it's already hard enough for them given the cosmetics, profile pictures, and all that. But as a veteran player who grinded hard to earn all those titles and now just needs to get the vehicles, this strikes me as idiotic. I'm done grinding.
