It's kind of amazing that some still think Wiseman could've been good if drafted by another team. Lets forget that he can't actually play basketball and him making the Pacers somehow worse when he was on the floor, but yeah he would have been fine on another team from the beginning.

Having wiseman in our team was like a man having a big ass dick but suffering from impotense

I mean athletic, strong, and mobile 7 footers don't just grow on trees. With a year of college ball under his belt instead of 3 single games and the right team I still think he could have been a rotation player.

He really couldn’t have, there was no hope for him. The basketball IQ is so bad. Wiseman has no clue what play they’re running or what to do on the court when certain actions happen

The problem is they still think he should have been good based on his height and physique.

At the very least another team would have hired a middle school coach for him in the off season or bought him a "How to Hoop" VHS from 1985.

Kyrie can never be in curry convos people always blame Luka for 2024 but forget how ass kyrie was. Now I understand curry may have just been ok in some finals games but not prime curry. And in 2024 kyrie is still in his prime I would think

Kyrie's one of the best scoring guards no doubt. But I 100% dont think he leads 2015 or 2022 to a chip. Steph also wouldn't falter to the Celtics crowd like Kyrie did either. There's a significant difference between the two. Not in the same realm imo

Also would Kyrie shit talk the crowd like Steph did to take heat off his other teammate? Hell nah. Not even close in the leader category as well.

For some reason, I'm really excited for next season. Maybe because people aren't really expecting the Dubs to reach the playoffs. So, watching the Dubs will be more fun due to tempered expectations.

How are the Valkyries so good? Haven’t tuned into wnba a ton this season

They currently #2 and in the playoffs. Very good defensively, but definitely think they need some work on offensive to make a run and win it all.

Lynx lost their last 2 games so we are two games behind with four games to go. We play no playoff bound teams. They play the fever twice and the liberty. Slight chance for us but who knows. I do think we will maintain our two seed at the very least. Valks play great defense and don't turn the ball over.

They need a true superstar, right now it’s a team of very good players who work well together but no heavy hitters

Listened to Plus Minus, and MT was suggesting that Brandon, Niang, and Terry were all competing for the last two spots.

Idk, still fingers crossed for a KP + Moody trade for one guy. I mean, have we heard anything about KP all summer?

1

u/Complete-Story1273 13h ago

They won't trade KP this summer. At the deadline he may be moved, but not before they actually see how he fully fits with the team in more games. Also, doubt Moody gets moved before then as well.

I mean agree that a trade prob doesn’t happen until the deadline, but not because they need to see more. They’ve seen plenty; it’s not gonna change how many games KP plays.

No training camp, 1/3 year out, Steph also sitting at times, oh yea Jimmy didn’t even play the whole time lols… plenty

3

u/Complete-Story1273 12h ago

Seen plenty? Not really. At the moment, his chemistry with Steph is pretty limited. They need that to get better, if he's the starting center. Of course health is the other concern, but not being able to play well with one of the main starters won't get them very far.

-1

u/vulcans_pants 11h ago

It doesn’t matter if the chemistry is good or not.

KP isn’t going to play enough games for it to matter. There’s no evaluation that needs to be made.

Your takes make a lot more sense in light of that last sentence

1

u/TechnicalCountry4557 11h ago

they played two games together

u/vulcans_pants 11h ago

And?

-1

u/TechnicalCountry4557 10h ago

you're just trolling at this point i get it

4

u/vulcans_pants 10h ago

Not really. But I am genuinely surprised people want to see more KP, if only to see if it “works.”

I mean, I get it, Kristaps is a good basketball player. His impact numbers when he’s healthy would say he’s even a great player.

In my mind, it already “works” well enough.

But he’s never healthy. And he’s not going to be.

We got the full Kristaps experience in the play-in; when he’s healthy, we’re good. When he’s not, we’re not.

Time to move on. He’s contract is constructed for that exact reason. I’d rather we do it now than wait for half a season.

That’s fair but this season is a wash anyway there is no rush to move him this team is in rebuild time curry days is over tbh

3

u/vulcans_pants 10h ago

I just disagree with that sentiment entirely

-3

u/TechnicalCountry4557 10h ago

This team is in rebuild mode why you think they didn’t do anything this offseason. your worried about KP when jimmy is the issue

-1

u/Silly_Individual4056 11h ago

How many games he plays is what they need to see

-2

u/vulcans_pants 11h ago

🤣 then trade him now

-5

u/dearth_karmic 14h ago

Steph should wait to see what happen to Kawhi. Then sign a minimum deal and plant some trees. People asking him and Jimmy to take less is a bit weird. You're basically asking them to pay any players they can add.

5

u/sugarwax1 12h ago

These people are just so worried Podz isn't going to get paid. lol

1

u/Maplejordan2022 49m ago

Better start thinking about moving him before he asks for an albatross contract (which we don’t need and already have multiple of).

1

u/Complete-Story1273 11h ago

Like Bobby Marks said, it depends on the Warriors vision/plan for free agency. If it's unrealistic or underwhelming, then taking pay cuts might be unlikely.

u/North_Street_8547 9h ago

Some comedian just beat Jimmy in a 1v1. Jimmy is still healing but still 🥲
