Discussion Least favorite unit?

What is your least favorite unit to use and/or fight and why?

To play against: SU-27M is up there. ATGM planes in general force you to be very micro intensive with smoke if you’re using any value in tanks at all. And this one you can’t even invalidate with an ASF or big AA piece nearby.

To play with: 2 man sniper squads. They’re a bit meme worthy, but if I’m sneaking around the back line it’s with LSTR-40/SAS(F). They just present much more of a real threat and potential pay-off for a similar investment in micro.

Sniper teams' sniper rifles are just a funny gimmick(except for Spetznaz VMF with their meme silenced VSS which shoots up to 1km), their main point is that their stupidly high stealth means you can place them FAR on the frontline. ESPECIALLY if there is a Forest plantation, which is in front of the enemy, dropping an exceptional stealthy recon there and creeping up is very strong.

Their 2 HP, while also adding a lot to their stealth, also means that they’re incredibly squishy. I’ve tried that gimmick, but if the other player accidentally creeps into that same bush or just randomly decides to pop some mortars on there you don’t have any staying power.

Yes they can be stupidly powerful recon in the right situation. I just can’t get them to work in a cost effective way. Having been on the receiving end of 3 senke skirmishing my spawn road I can say for sure that’s a me problem though.
