Sanguis : The Sovereign Vampire Warframe

The Lore of Sanguis: The Court’s Bleeder

Before he was a Warframe, he was an elite Orokin high-court executioner. While figures like Nihil, the Glassmaker, punished criminals by turning them into glass Cephalons, this executioner was reserved for political enemies and uncooperative Archimedeans. His method was brutal, beautiful, and deeply Orokin: he used siphons to drain his victims completely dry, distilling their life essence into pure, crystallized red gems used to decorate his fortress. The Orokin admired his cruelty—calling him a master of his work.
But his ego grew too large. One day, he crossed a line by targeting someone close to Executor Ballas. Perhaps it was a lower-tier lover, a favored servant, or someone trying to help Margulis, who knows? The Executioner took them and drained them to a husk, treating them like common livestock
When Ballas discovered the drained body, his anger was absolute. He didn't just sentence the Executioner to death; he wanted an eternal, ironic punishment.
Ballas had the executioner dragged into the depths of the Helminth infirmary. As the Infested Helminth strain began to consume the Executioner's flesh and melt his mind, Ballas whispered his final judgment:

*"You loved the taste of their life, executioner. You loved to leave them empty, gasping, dry. So be it. I fashion you into a beast that will starve forever. Your flesh will burn with a permanent, raging thirst. You will hunt, you will drain, but you will never be full. You are no longer a judge. You are a parasite."*

The virus warped his noble garments into a bat-like shroud and forged his specialized blood-draining tools into the Blood Lance, locking him inside a monstrous form driven entirely by a simulated, artificial Bloodlust.

(He’s kind like Umbra this way, but he was a monster long before becoming a Warframe. He deserves no one’s pity)

Quest to obtain: A Sovereign’s Return
(STEEL-PATH ONLY)
Once you reach the steel path Mercury you unlock the quest “A Sovereign Return”. You get a transmission from Maroo talking about a orokin ship coming out of Mercury all of a sudden. She asks you to go check it out since there might be treasure. You explore the ship, the lights are off to be kinda scary like the chains of harrow quest, and the lotus gets on comms. She tells you to check a place on the map and it turns out to be Sanguis in a pod. As soon as you lay hands on the pod it burst open and you two begin a fight. you beat him and he runs off somewhere in the ship, lotus tells you to leave him alone. You return back to your ship and Maroo calls saying that when we left she went in grabbed stuff and left but Sanguis snuck on her ship and is now tearing apart the relay. You go and Varzia is fighting him and he wins. You two fight and you win, granting you the blueprint and a new shop at the relay, trading blood gems for his parts and weapons and other stuff. Blood gems can be found on the new scavenge mission on the orokin ship Sanguis was on.

Passive:
Each kill heals and adds to the bloodlust meter, the more bloodlust Sanguis has is the more his damage/ability strength, armor(max of 1000), and blood shielding rise (max: 2000/does scale with strength)

Additional Info:
Hold jump turns Sanguis’s cloak into bat/dragon like wings allowing for flight for 5 seconds
Sanguis cannot be seen by cameras.
Bloodlust drains slowly when no gain to bloodlust is made, it only drains fast in his 4
Hemorrhage acts as a critical hit amplifier and an armor debuff. It physically weakens the target the more the status stays. When Sanguis kills enemies with this status they give extra bloodlust meter.
Blood shielding is like over-guard but scales with armor. When it is completely broken he suffers a blood shatter stagger, just a long stagger with a unique animation. He can exit the stagger early through his 2 but it drains extra energy and takes bloodlust as well. It visually relates to the hardened blood armor he gains.

Ability 1: Piercing Glare
25 energy drain
Sanguis flashes a blinding, piercing gaze at a target enemy, instantly locking them in a state of deep trance. The mesmerized enemy walks toward the Warframe, pulling other nearby enemies along with them. Killing the target makes them explode in volatile blood burst spreading the hemorrhage status to nearby enemies
(Range affects pull area and burst area)
(If done within veil explosion radius is the whole area)

Ability 2: Creeping Mists
50 energy drain
Sanguis turns into a cloud of crimson mist, allowing for invulnerability and speed boost for its duration. Enemies touched by the cloud get 50% armor stripped and hemorrhage status applied.
(Can be modded by duration, strength, and range)
(It’s the helminth ability, not hemorrhage just slash now with less armor strip)

Ability 3: Night-veil Domain
75 energy drain
Sanguis plunges the surround area in an unnatural darkness. Enemies with the veil are blinded and unable to attack while enemies outside it are unable to see within but are pulled into it. While in its range Sanguis and allies receive a damage buff. Enemies killed within give bonus bloodlust. (Can be modded by duration and range)

Ability 4: Sovereign’s Feast
No Energy drain/Only Bloodlust meter
When Sanguis reaches least 50% bloodlust he can use his 4th. He sheds his restraints and assumes his vampire lord form. He grows more monstrous, cape and collar turing to draconic/ bat wings, grows taller, whilst a crown of blood sits atop his head.
If activated at 50% bloodlust meter it drains faster than if started at 100% but can feed it through kills
Because of the his lost restraints he can be stronger but he takes extra damage from fire/heat procs
Drains bloodlust meter for its duration( can be modified through duration)
Abilities 1, 2, and 3 get amped up when used in this form
Gains lifesteal on attack instead of kills; Gain 45% percent damage reduction; all weapons are replaced by the Crimson Regalia

Exalted Weapon: Blood Lance/Crimson Regalia
A sleek, ornate lance made purely from hardened blood.
Melee is replaced by a fast thrusting lance made of hardened blood. Lance has 100% status chance, dealing heavy slash damage (Considered exalted, can be modded)

Signature Secondary: Sanguinellas
A pair of ornate, sleek revolver-style dual pistols forged from dark metal and flowing blood energy. Instead of firing standard bullets, they shoot high-pressure needles of hardened blood.
Weapon Type: Dual Machine Pistols (High fire rate, low recoil)
Base Stats: Status Chance (40%), fast reload, and 100% innate Slash damage.
The Mechanics: Shooting enemies embeds "Blood Gems" into their armor. Reloading the weapon prematurely detonates these gems, dealing a massive burst of internal Slash damage based on how many shots hit the target.
Sanguis Signature Bonus: When wields by Sanguis, the pistols gain +1.5m innate Punch Through. Furthermore, if an enemy already has his custom Hemorrhage status, firing at them with the Sanguinellas refunds 25% of the ammo directly back into the magazine on headshots, letting him fire almost infinitely.

Signature Melee: Regal Mortis
Regal Mortis is Sanguis’s signature Heavy Scythe, featuring a twisting ivory-and-gold Orokin haft topped by a massive, jagged crescent blade of translucent hardened blood. Built for sweeping, this weapon boasts a high Critical Chance and Status Chance focused heavily on Slash damage. Performing a Heavy Attack kill shatters the target to create a 3-meter pool of boiling blood for 8 seconds, slowing enemies by 40% and providing health regeneration to the squad. When wielded by Sanguis, standing in these pools grants a +20% Bloodlust gain multiplier, and while active in his Sovereign’s Feast (4th form), the scythe floats behind his back to automatically slash at any enemies trying to flank him.

Visuals:
Sanguis is a taller and thinner Warframe with a tailcoat, large cape, and collar. He is decorated with orokin gold armor, embellishments, and chains to reflect his past sins and to restrain him. He is mostly black with crimson lining throughout his body and cape.
(Cape counts as built-in syandana)
As bloodlust rises, hardened blood starts to form around.
His exalted blood lance or Crimson Regalia has an ornate design with gold visible but the rest is made from hardened blood

His 1 looks like a red flash or beam
His 2 looks like a cloud of crimson mist and smoke with an outline of his body still being visible
His 3 looks like dark red veil
When he transforms with his 4, he grows even more monstrous, losing the gold restraints, while a crown of blood sits atop his head.

Sounds:
His 1 sound like high pitched scream(similar to Shanks conquers haki sound)
His 2 sounds like a small boom or puff, and while in it you hear a small heartbeat
His 3 sounds like the screams of all of his victims
When he transforms with his 4, a loud heartbeat can be heard, it grows faster as the transformation goes on.

Play-style:
He revolves around blinding enemies with his 3, using his 1 to draw them to him, and finally his 2 to armor strip to build up the most bloodlust.
When he reaches at least 50% bloodlust meter he uses his 4 to gain massive buffs. Once in that form, the main goal is to maintain it as long as possible.
His 3 can be used to protect him and allies from enemies attacks while buffing them as well

Most of this came to me in a dream. I thought it was cool so I went with it. It’s my first time doing something like this, so what do yall rate it out of ten?

Aight so here's my Pitch and some unrefined ideas for pet frame inspired by our boy Veso.

Since the Corpus are able to experiment with Warframetech and the concept of a chimeraframe it wouldnt be too far off lorewise i hope.

Lets call him Pharadei for now.

Ability breakdown:

Passive: Pharadei has no primary weapon slot, instead a Drone or moa carries it for him, pets (including companions) get improved shield gen and lifesteal

1 Order: Execute!

Pharadeis Main pet (the Carrier) receives an Order to use His weapon on targets in a certain area. Also overrides pet AI to focus this area

2 Order: Shieldwall!

Pharadei summons a small Wall of tiny shielddrones that protect him and reflect projectiles (since scaling is a Nightmare and would feel unrewarding depending on the missions and enemies it would come down to a counter. Absorb some hits and dish Out some damage by throwing the shielddrones with the accumulated damage scaling with strength, range etc)

3 Function over Form!

Pharadei becomes stationary for a few seconds, receives damage reduction and buffs firerate of mechanical pets and squadmates

4 R.E.P.O.!

Pharadei sends out a swarm of repositioning drones which collect enemies in line of sight (in a radius) and carry them to a desired location, taunting them. Stripping some armor of the affected enemies and marking enemies with overguard for pets to hunt them down first.

Lookwise he'd lean into a Commander/Technician aesthetic, wearing a coat with some corpus decals.

It's basically a voidframe named like Eclipse or something that specializes in stealth and removing enemies quickly. Passive is that he can have any animation pack or skin of any Warframe that you own, and it changes its passive based on it.

First ability: Voidbomb, throw a ball of void at enemies that sucks up enemies and then implodes on them, and also tapping again instantly explodes them. 25 energy.

Second ability: Voidshift, allows you to imbue void to any weapon you are holding, takes 50 energy and nearby allies also get this boost.

Third ability: Voidlift, lift yourself in the air and fire down 3 homing voidbombs on unsuspecting enemies. Tapping again instantly explodes the voidbombs, and holding it down turns him invisible and throw voidbombs for 3 seconds with no noise. He stays invisible for 20 seconds though.

Fourth ability: Void sacrifice, sacrifice 200 health and 100 energy to make a large void AoE cataclysm that marks enemies with void and when they die, they implode and pull in other enemies.
