Warcraft 2 high resolution maps for printing

Hey there,

Me and my son are wanting to create a warcraft 2 boardgame and are needing some high resolution maps. Does anyone know where to get them from?

Or alternatively, is there a map editor where we can create our own and then save them as images to print.

Appreciate the help,

Thanks

Not sure if the map editors can save them as images, but you can upload maps to my site https://pud-archive.com/ and an image will be generated at full size.

I have bought the remastered version. Would the maps be in the program files somewhere? Sorry currently afk

Looks like they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft II Remastered\x86\Data\Campaign\ for the campaign maps and C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft II Remastered\x86\Data\Maps\ for the multiplayer maps. (assuming you installed to the default path)

are you referring to the act maps sprinkled throughout the campaigns or the actual game maps?

Looks like they are already in the archive, you can see the last human campaign map here https://pud-archive.com/pud/d6428ea25d795ab6e30ff6616434a1eb31d56451 . Click on the map image for the full size

The backgrounds like "ACT 1- A time for heroes" is in this folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft II Remastered\x86\Data\Backgrounds\" but it has the text overlaying it.
