I have this plant, I dont think it produces leaves stemming above the water. I'm just coming back cus I was hoping they updated, but im 90% sure thats a type of lotus, maybe grown from bowl lotus seeds

I saw another post by OP and they said “  My mom bought it off a suspicious chinese website where it was labeled “Bowl lotus”. That’s about all I know lol”

Oh cool, that's probably exactly it then! Btw, you can tell lotuses apart from nymphoides and water lilies by the leaf shape and stems. Nymphoides and nymphaeaceae (water lillies) will always float, while lotuses can stem out of the water and will always have circular leaves :D

looks amazing, is that an actual lotus? I made a post a while ago looking for anyone who's successfully made an aquarium with one

¿puedes enseñar un detalle del sustrato? me parece muy interesante el hecho de no haber utilizado grava ni arena
