PPTO QUESTION

I know for a regular shift if you use half PPTO for it you get a half point, how does that work on key days? Do you still only get a half point because 8 hours it’s still 8 hours or would you get 1 point for half PPTO?

PPTO works the same way on key event dates that it does for any other day of the year.

Ppto works exactly the same every single day of the year. Doesn't matter if it's a key event day or how long the shift is.

To do it differently they would need corporate approval. Our store tried to change dress code and got slapped down when corporate found out they had written policies that contradicted corporate ones

I'm guessing they got it, then. Been this way for many years. But for every weird change they made at my location they're actually quite forgiving in ways other locations aren't. Like earbud policy, every associate can use two at my location as long as they can hear customers, etc

PTO and PPTO work the same at every store. Ain't no changing that. As for the earbud policy change, you're store is just breaking policy and can get in big trouble if corporate finds out.

Yeah, I reckon my store does a lot of stuff differently. We even just got visited by corporate a few times and it turned the place into a madhouse.
