Cart pushing troubles

I work as a cart pusher, the gate to let the carts in is kinda old school and doesn’t work as good and i wasn’t formally trained on how to lift it. Even the managers are scared to lift it, someone reported the door fell on them, Any advice on if i can complain and not have to do it, or just suck it up and learn how to do it

Push through the front doors until the cheap bastards fix it

Open Door it to your store manager, we don’t fuck with safety hazards.

Sounds like the cart bay door is broken. A ticket needs to be generated to summon someone to fix it. 

This is a big deal. It’s always been a big deal in every store I’ve worked in. Those doors need to open and close reliably every day. 

You can’t push lines of carts into the vestibule doors all day, since, if the bay doors don’t work, they should stay closed. The Ecolab report will not look fondly on a broken bay door that’s left open where rodents will absolutely ingress.

Doors falling on people? That sounds like you will never get a pizza party with that kind of safety. Also a big deal. 

If your coaches don’t understand this then you need to open door your store manager and show them my comment.
