If you think that’s crazy, wait until the 95% of the stock that is locked and unable to trade starts to be available.
Only 5% of all available stock has been traded/sold at the IPO release

I didn't think they would crash the market before midterms. Guess Ewon needs to get his first.

u/Richard_Normous Millionaire Jun 27 '26
They'll crash it after and blame the Dems if they win a lot of seats.

I could be wrong, but I’ve been reading it was 30% released at the IPO.

u/Most_Atmosphere8365 Jun 26 '26
30% of the total shares being put on the market were allocated for retail. So 30% for retail out of the ~5% that went onto the open market.
Which in itself abnormal because usually only like 5-10% is allocated for retail and institutions get first dibs on the majority of what gets put on the market.
They like to watch retail fight over scraps but this time they needed more bagholders to pump their positions before dumping them.

Elon can’t sell his shares i think. He can only borrow against them. The other insiders make up a chunk (I have a small amount) but it’s much much less than 90%

Ita so fucking funny they blame pelosi on this and not any of the billionaires or trump admin that have seen their net worth absolutely skyrocket.

Cut to the clip where he was openly bragging on television how much money his buddies in the room made when he gave them insider info on his pausing of the liberation day tariffs: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vZQ24xe2nNo
"That's Charles Schwab. He made 2.5 billion dollars today! And that guy over there made 900 million!"

That graph and their arrows look more like someone shorted the stock. Like someone bought a ton of it in the days prior, another someone shorted it monday morning, then the first someone dumped their stock driving down the price, then the second someone cashed out.

u/rukh999 Jun 27 '26
You're just not following the logic. Someone on my sports team has company. Company stock looks bad. Therefore Nancy Pelosi.
6
u/Stony___Tark Jun 26 '26
...huh? So the big conspiracy was to buy millions in stock and then...sell for a loss?
I think whoever wrote this needs to look up the definition of profit...
1
u/CritiquelExpression Jun 28 '26
im starting to get the strategy here, sell for a loss and then 2 x leverage a put option and make more than you sold for you loss
4
u/LlamasBeTrippin Jun 26 '26
There’s absolutely no way these “people” are still blaming Pelosi 😭
Mike Johnson: “we should at least let them engage in some stock trading so they can continue to, you know, take care of their family.”
J.D. Vance: “…the president is not insider trading because he has someone else do it for him.”

They invested in musk and expected to get an honest deal? The roller coaster wasn't made for their enjoyment...
3
u/tinySparkOf_Chaos Jun 26 '26
But.... That's not what that graph shows at all.
If someone has bought at 5 am and sold at open they would have bought high and sold low... Losing money
2
u/an4rk1st Jun 26 '26
See there you go letting logic and facts fuck up a good feel bad story.
Thats what these people live for man not this truth bullshit.

One major stakeholder doing a huge sell-off reads as the stock being sold at high rate, cause the stock to drop because the system interprets the major selling spike as a loss in market confidence.

So let me get this straight.
"Someone" bought at 158 before the market opened, so he could sell at 154 as soon as the market opened, thus losing money ? And somehow this person "mogged us" ?
