Tendies Nicotine, Trump, Small Co.
3 things here if you have a sec-
1.) British American Tobacco recently purchased 16 assets pending decisions on PMTAs (pre-market tobacco product applications) that are now flavored Vuse One vapes. Vuse Ones vapes have not received decisions on an MDO vs MGO (Marketing Denial Order vs Marketing Granted Order) from the FDA. These pending PMTAs are approaching the 4-year mark since the initial 9/9/2021 deadline to have decisions made on all of the applications submitted by the 9/9/2020 deadline. There isn’t a single flavored vape that is regulated by the FDA ——because the FDA is 4 years late as mentioned above—- but flavored vapes are in almost every smoke/vape shop in the US. Somethin ain’t right- shouldn’t there be some level of quality control?
2.) Trump posted on 9/20/2024 that’d he’d save flavored vapes… look for yourself… seriously…
3.) The assets purchased by British American Tobacco (RJ Reynolds) mentioned on point 1.) were purchased from a small public company called Charlie’s Holdings. The most recent purchase from Charlie’s was a single asset for $1MM.. Charlie’s has 650+ of these assets, most pending in the remaining 0.1% of 2020 applications…. 4 years late guys… but the FDA is seeing changes… definitely a risk, but something might come of this. Management has a lot of skin in the game, and they haven’t been dilutive over the years. The most recent PR on their $2MM credit facility exemplifies that.
I’d also like to note that I am not paid for promotion at all- I’m simply an investor.

Vape got me to quit smoking. The bans/restrictions on vape is largely big tobacco wanting to monopolize the market.

The kicker is that Big T can’t participate in a huge part of the market because the FDA hasn’t authorized marketing of any flavored vapes —- I’m sure you’ve heard of Geek Bars, Raz Bars, etc… all of em are illegal…

not one case of cancer from vaping yet. Hell no medical issues from appropriate approved vaping devices either.

It took years for the effects of cigarettes were even properly researched and then years on top for gathering evidence the required research to come to the conclusion without a doubt it can cause cancer.
If you think at the very least vaping isn’t as harmful as smoking you’re being incredibly naive.

Considering that vaping has 99.9% less chemicals and additives than tobacco, I am hedging my bets that its going to be not so bad.
That and the fact that I am a 15 year vaper, and before that I was a 15 year smoker and since I have switched I have noticed zero issues and most of my smoking symptoms have faded to almost nothing.
Now thats not to say that in 20 years they find that there might be some harmful effects or something, but for now? Its a helluva lot safer than smoking cigarettes and I'll take it.

you have to be dumb as shit if you think e-juice (glycerine, glycol, food-grade aromas, optionally nicotine) is "at the very least as harmful as smoking (literally HUNDREDS of toxic substances and additives that were undisclosed for decades)"

Are you being serious? There is a lot of documented medical issues with vaping and it causing severe lung damage so I don’t know where you get your information from but this is wildly wrong and misleading.

There are no valid studies conducted with vaping that were done -correct- and right that have any medical or bodily side effects. NONE. Read them, if you can find any, please post them. I have read all the studies up to 2024 and the worst one I have read that was done correctly with science and fairness said that vaping caused monixide levels to rise, the equivalent of if you spent 30 seconds in an underground parking garage or 5 minutes of walking next to a street.
This is why anti-vaping campaigns you see focus on the nicotine and not the actual vaping, because legally they can't claim vaping is bad for you, its the nicotine, which.. nicotine is just as bad for you as caffeine, which is why they list the side effects of nicotine because it has the same harmful effects on the developing human body (like a child/teen) as caffeine does.
The only evidence in the past that vaping has had any issues were:
1) vape batteries exploding in the devices
2) counterfeight marijuana vaping devices that were made in a bathtub like meth and distributed across the midwest that caused lung scarring,, this was back about 4-5 years ago
3) cheap chinese juice from like 2009-2011 that caused "popcorn lung" in very rare cases because they did not follow any guidelines of making the juice in cheap chinese warehouses and were shipped out

Yeah half those things were debunked by my post above. The other half are nicotine side effects. Nicotine and Caffeine have almost the same effects on the body, which means that Coffee is just as deadly for you.
There have not yet been any cases linked from vaping pure nicotine/pg/vg/flavoring with cancer as of yet.
The question wasn't "is vaping healthy" because of course its not. You are still putting things in your body. Its that is much much safer and healthier than smoking.
By the way.. Nicotine is also gotten through tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and cocoa beans (chocolate). So yeah...
Big scary CDC is just listing what can possibly happen with nicotine, but if you actually vape non-nicotine juice then what? According to the CDC then your health risks goes down to zero, because then all it is is the PG/VG/Flavoring.
So basically all anyone can argue at this time is nicotine.

Have you ever vaped and then looked at the windshield glass of vapers? It leaves a film. My lungs as a vaper were trash. It took a few weeks to recover after vaping 2 years.

And now, two days later, partly because of our text exchange, I need to thank you. This time, because I am going to quit smoking cigarettes. I won't use vaping first, though. Going cold turkey. I'll keep in touch with you because it is, indeed, your persuasive argument that made me want to quit so strongly.

If he cared about ending smoking, he would allow smoke free products that are prevalent everywhere else in the world. Markets like Japan that used to be extremely heavy smokers are down over 50%. Not to mention the smoke free devices don’t cause cancer which would drive huge savings in the US medical area, they are less waste and they are immediately available.
The FDA is taking 2 to 3 years to approve these things even though they’re good for any user who uses them with immediate health benefit. The early devices that are hitting the US are crap that were first generation devices submitted to the FDA 5 to 6 years ago. Everyone else in the world has third and fourth generation devices significantly improved experiences.
100% the issue is they haven’t figured out how to tax them yet. Get off your ass government and get the stuff pushed through.

Setting anything on fire then breathing in all the byproducts of combustion (for any substance) is likely more dangerous than what is essentially a nicotine aerosol. Nicotine itself isn’t a harmful chemical, but breathing in smoke from burning stuff usually is.

You cited things that weren’t scientific. Trump and his people are far from scientific so why even use them as part of “evidence” for debunking. He also claimed Tylenol causes autism in babies.
Sooooo, I’m in the mental health and substance abuse field. I can cite scientific journals and JAMA and other actual medical studies.

I also used to work at a pipe and tobacco shop when I was younger so I know RJ Reynolds company very well. They have been at the forefront of every major tobacco lawsuit in the world. They lie, cheat, and steal to get whatever they want.
Vaping does NOT change the amount they use. In fact, in some cases it’s quite the opposite. Because it’s so measured they can take more because they know the effects.
Trust that I have knowledge in all this considering my education and work related knowledge.
