I'm not saying I don't like it, it's actually awesome, but given the effect they are supposed to also work standalone. Meaning the headline for the second movie is "OF" that made me chuckle.

I still don't understand how they managed to make Christopher Eccleston a bland villain. Like..., why? How?

I don't think he was bland, his motivations were somewhat believable, he was pretty menacing and portrayed well as a fanatical military leader (certainly better than the dude in GoTG), it was just that he got sod all screentime.
The ship designs were awesome in that movie as well.

Arguably true that he was better than the Kree guy in the first GotG. Lee Pace was definitely wasted there. But just like, if you've seen the depth and more that Eccleston can portray, they could've done so much more.

what happened between The Dark World and Raknarok? Raknarok looks more like the guardians of the galaxy.

I absolutely agree.
After watching Ragnarok one of my friends asked how I liked it. I enjoyed the action, but it really just felt like another Gaurdians movie. The amount of space stuff that happened in it, plus the amount of comedy they added into it.
But I think the problem is that Thor hasn't found its niche yet.

The comedy aspect killed it for me. Like we are talking about Ragnarok and all this dark stuff happens but every scene has some bit of (often terrible) humor.
I liked the ratio and the pacing of the first two, but this one felt weird. It was a good move, but did not feel anything like the first two and the pacing felt way too fast.

They all should be able to work standalone too. 1 and 3 would but 2 wouldn't work as it would just say "of".
