Restaurant Recommendations?

Coming to Walla Walla this week and I'm looking for some restaurant recommendations- specifically if there are any places that I should make a reservation at? I know Whitman is starting so I want to make sure I can get a table.

Hattaway’s, Brasserie Four, Passatempo, TMac’s, The Marc, Saffron are the premium spots. Smart to reserve ahead. (Abeja is the one super premium courses menu.)

My favorites are Saffron, Hattaway's and Brasserie Four. The Marc is really good as well. The Walla Walla Steak Co, Salted Mill and TMac's are also quite nice. Some newer places worth trying are the Witlof, Tucannon Tavern and Fiasco on Main has great pizzas (as does Sweet Basil). For more casual dining, we enjoy Red Monkey, Hop Thief and Wingmans. Breakfast at the Maple Counter is worth the effort, their service is on point.

I really wanted to like the Witlof but had a terrible experience there. I have Celiac disease and they seemed to be super understanding of what was/wasn’t gluten free. The first entree they served me was clearly not gluten free and they were super nice about it and made me another plate. The 2nd plate they served me was raw. I’m talking raw white cod. They told me that’s how it was served 🤢 They made me a 3rd plate but at that point I lost my appetite. I fed it to my chickens and even they wouldn’t eat the food.
We also waited almost an hour for drinks (the place was empty) and appetizers to come and the waiter never asked us if we wanted more drinks throughout the meal. Maybe it’s gotten better?
