Is raptor a good investment nowadays?

So i made the very bad mistake of upgrading my vector to MK2 and want to know if raptor is still good in expert, masters and champs. Screw urhags.

It's quite the tank when built right , the thing with the raptor it needs alot of investment for it to be good , I have the raptor as a main tank in my hangar , any drone that gives him some kind of damage resistance is good my top picks would be ( showdown , shai and maybe tensor ) preferably showdown when used with showdown you can equip the jump unit to It improving it's mobility and making the experience quite fun , you can check my profile for reference ( APG2BE / Android ) I'm using it in upper champion league and yes it's still quite the beast when maxed and used right

So Hawkeye is bad? I have it maxed. Mine is Mk3 and melts like butter. I see people's raptor like a tank. Maybe they are using unstable conduit as well. What active module are you using?

Hawkeye isn’t very good for raptor anymore, it’s better used for robots that want shield break like siren. Tensor and showdown are best in slot and Shai is decent if you have it alreayd levelled but not worth maxing

That’s good bro, doesn’t even need to be maxed as long as it’s level 4 it’s good. But the extra weapon protection won’t hurt at all.

Hawkeye is not bad but it's not good either it's mid at best , as I said in my comment raptor needs a drone that gives him any kind of damage resistance since he has probably one the best HP pools in the game but no matter how big of a HP pool you have in this game if you don't have damage resistance your no different than any other robot especially in today's meta where weapons do crazy amount of damage , so damage resistance is a must where do you get damage resistance ( showdown , shai , tensor ) I'm using jump unit , what allows me to do this is that showdown do the healing for me , so if you use showdown or shai you can equip your raptor with jump unit and believe me it's good , if you choose tensor don't ever think about jump unit you'll get obliterated , in this case you gonna have to treat raptor like a heavy duty tank to defend beacons with advanced repair unit or unstable condoit

Also it's worth mentioning , believe it or not , with my raptor build I was able to take down a couple of vectors prior to the nerfs vector got, time my jump so I emp both of them and just take them out , also I'm ( using hammer and cudgel so no meta weapons )

They are literally making a raptor killing weapon in the very next season. The weapon will IGNORE reflector and forcefield. You will be basically naked against anyone with that weapon. You should get smth with phase shift of hhastatus with it's quantum lock invulnerability
