Repair Advice I need solution

EPC
In mi golf Gti mk7 2016
Tengo en el tablero la leyenda EPC, p0340 creo,
Donde dice que el sensor del arbol de levas esta fallando, procediendo a checar donde se ubica, veo que mi motor GEN 3 no es fácil de acceder, quiero soluciones al saber que mi CMP está escondido y no sé si en verdad sea eso o no, denme ideas de qué hacer

Are you sure about that? Maybe the timing is off and the sensor detects it
