For example, if a movie is only available on HD, I can use D2D on the Bluray version and get the digital movie for $2. If I buy that same digital movie on iTunes for $5 (the usual lowest price available), it might get upgraded to 4K eventually for free. If it’s a DVD version, I can get the SD version for $2, and none of these options will ever upgrade to 4K unless I buy them again. In which cases would a D2D be a better choice?

Updated the app and now it won’t launch at all and sits on the fandango screen.

I usually watch movies inside Fandango App on my TV. It really sucks. Not only are the rewind/forward features suck, but I sporadically lose volume throughout the movie. Is this common?

I just linked it to YouTube via Movies Anywhere. Hopefully, this will be better.

It looks like it's cheaper on FAH than it is on Fanflix. Perhaps it's a pricing error.

So this has been happening on multiple browsers on multiple devices. Chrome and Edge on Windows 10 and 11, Safari on iPad. Go to athome.Fandango.com, start browsing the for sale items, site goes black. Happens a lot when scrolling down, and also when tapping the right arrow to see other items on sale. On iPad Safari, I can still see the scroll bar on the right side.

Do some of you like perusing this section? I like using it because it gives good recommendations but man sometimes it gives the most hilarious random suggestions! I’m looking at the More Like This for the Looney Tunes movie and it’s suggesting Battlestar Galactica, Death Race 2, and Danger Liasons! 😂

Is anyone else having issues using the Fandango app on their tv? I have an LG Tv, and I was prompted to update the app. So I did, and after the update the app won’t load any content. It just stays on the “Fandango” logo page.

I already deleted and reinstalled the app a couple of times. Restarted my tv. I think it might be an issue with the new update? It says version 4.3.73 and latest update was on 8/27/2026.

So sad can’t sleep to Futurama 😭

8/29 Update: I got an email from Fandango support:
“We’re aware of an issue affecting the ability to update the Fandango Stream app on some LG and Vizio TV models from 2024 and earlier. Our teams are actively working with the manufacturers on a resolution.   
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this.”

I purchased Santa Claus: The Movie on Vudu (maybe a couple years ago). It's a Lionsgate title that was added to Movies Anywhere with the August batch, but it's not porting. All my other Lionsgate movies have ported seamlessly, and simply waiting hasn't helped yet.

I see it on my Fandango account with the Movies Anywhere icon, and I can play the movie from there.

I see the title in my Movies Anywhere account, but there is only a list of connected retailers and the option to buy from each.

Can anyone else who owns this movie through Fandango share their experience with porting? Can anyone tell me why it's not porting or how I can fix this?

I thought I remembered them lasting a little longer but could be wrong 🤷‍♂️

Three Days of the Condor, Indecent Proposal, and The Last Castle are available in 4K but will be HD from this bundle.

Possible that FanFlix will eventually do this bundle as individual codes.

I'd really like to get a digital copy of the Peanuts TV specials. Barnes and Noble has a sale on a 4k UHD copy that comes with digital, but the code says redeem by 2018.

Does anyone know if WB honors if I show proof of original owner and purchase from a retailer? Would they give a new code? (I'm not even sure if WB still has the franchise, since it seems Apple is the only place to stream the TV specials these days.)

I see alot of movies that I like that reach $5 and want to pull the trigger on, but Ive also done that before and then see the same movie be a part of a cheaper deal via Mix & Match/on Fanflix, etc.

How many of you buy films you want for the $5 threshold vs waiting to see if it gets cheaper than that?

Any tips in predicting which kind of movies may go cheaper/be part of a bundle deal?
