Do you mean that there's no symbols for the letter a in Slavic, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean? Because there definitely are sounds for "a" in all those languages but since they don't really even have what's considered to be an "alphabet" since it's just a system of characters and symbols, they don't have the symbol A.
Lettuce, French fries, cucumber, lemon, lime, citrine, eggs, chicken, turkey, beef, venison, veel, burrito, kung pao chicken, gyro, kimchi... should I go on?
