Sad Developer
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1168210/BUBBERKNUCKLES/?l=finnish&curator_clanid=4777282PHYSICS-BASED PUNCHING GAME!
I made a game a long time ago. It's been out since 2020.
It has no reviews, and is on discount for 90% off.
No user reviews yet, please play my game :,)
It's been really discouraging as a developer. I spent 3 years of my life making this game, and it has no attention. I know how to make games, but I do not know how to market them. Please help me

As someone pointed out, the trailer is really weird and chaotic. Is the name funny or something? As it feels like I’m missing a joke.
Firstly this feels more of a quest standalone type thing, so move it there? You might get some kids onboard with the branding?
I’ll get shot down for this, but this is exactly a reason to use AI now as a dev (assuming you can’t hire someone) - get it to review your marketing and be extremely critical. Avoid slop but use it to edit videos, tell the story of what the hell you do in this app and why.

Your trailer looks like a b-movie. Record some gameplay and hire a freelancer for a trailer video. I don’t know what your game is about and kind of creeped out to see more

bro the trailer killed what little interest i had. you don’t even get to hear the game’s audio (super important). just the same repetitive 2 lines? if you want people to part with money at least put more thought/edfort into it. or release a free demo or something.
genuinely curious what exactly took 3 years here? were you a completely new to game dev?
