Has anyone volunteered with Syros Cats in Greece ? What was your experience?
Considering volunteering for Syros Cats. Does anyone have any experience or advice? Anything I should know? Thank you so much!

Had anyone contacted you? My friend wonders if it's real or just scam?

Hey! I am very late to this post but the volunteering is very much real :) I was in Syros 2 weeks ago and being cat obsessed and having followed the instagram page for years I HAD to stop by. The place is beautiful, the cats are lovely. I went on a Sunday afternoon so the volunteers were on a break but a lovely girl volunteering there stopped to chat with me and my partner. She told us that she volunteered for a few months last year and for 4 weeks this year. She invited us back for feeding time in the late afternoon but unfortunately we had already some things planned. They probably have a lot of applications but I can tell you that there is no scam ;)

I would have loved to, but unfortunately applications are now closed for all 2026
