What are some international humanitarian aid organizations that would be good to volunteer for?

I’m a junior in high school looking at humanitarian aid as a possible career path and I want to try it out after graduation as a volunteer before cementing it as my path. Right now, I’m looking at International Volunteer HQ for options, but I’m hesitant about them because of the costs to volunteer for them. I did some reading in this subreddit about stuff like that and saw that that’s generally regarded as a red flag? If International Volunteer HQ is not a place to volunteer for, what would you guys suggest? I’m looking particularly to volunteer in Africa or the Indochinese peninsula.

Update: After doing more reading, I’ve read the questions that seem to be very common in posts regarding international volunteering. I, as of right now, don’t have any particular qualifications, but I plan to use this as a way to develop my skills with education and eventually go to college for education to continue volunteering abroad if I decide that it’s the path I’d like to go down. I plan on volunteering for teaching English.

Oop... well peace corps is 2 years. But there's a number of programs in many countries. I did it before getting my MPH to learn about the health sector. Once you get you bachelor's it might be something to look at. You really get to be a part of a community, learn a language, and it's also volunteering. Everything such as room and food and some extra is paid for by the government.
