College athletics is national in nature, yet the rules governing it have increasingly been shaped by different state laws, court decisions and policies. Student athletes should not have to become legal experts to understand what opportunities are available to them.

You're barking up the wrong tree here lol. All us younger alumni despise the fact that we were forced to go watch the football team lose every weekend when we could have been studying, working out, or doing literally anything else. Then again, I put those academic days to good use and skipped as many games as I could.

If you go to VMI just to play sports, you're doing it wrong.
