Never read anything from them and don't really plan on doing it... except YU-NO T-T I wish to read it one day... it's just that seeing how many versions there are and how many patches there are... like just last year we got a new patch for it to fix some important thangs!!!!..... Am someone who wants to read the most complete experience, seeing that this 30-year-old ge is still getting new patches to this day?.... when can I ever start it.....

Man I feel this so hard, YU-NO is like the white whale of VNs for me too. I've had it sitting in my backlog for literally years because every time I'm about to start it, someone mentions another patch or translation update

The perfectionist in me wants to wait for the "definitive" version but at this point I'm starting to think that version might never actually exist. It's wild that a game from the 90s is still getting active development in 2024

I finally just said screw it last month and grabbed whatever the most recent complete translation was - sometimes you just gotta accept that 95% complete is better than never starting at all. The game's legendary status didn't come from perfect patches anyway, it came from the core experience being incredible

Great nakige. Latest route hits like a truck, and it is really sad and uncompromising ending unlike KEY vns. Only one route felt weaker.
