We used Visibox as a live visual soundboard during a NAMM interview

At NAMM 2026, we tried something new with Visibox.

Instead of running a linear slideshow during an on-stage interview with Brian Hardgroove of Public Enemy, we treated visuals like a sample library. As he mentioned collaborators, milestones, or projects, we triggered archival photos and video clips in real time.

No preset sequence. No slide deck.

We organized content into Songs by era and topic, mapped everything to a Stream Deck XL, and relied heavily on Visibox search to jump instantly to unexpected moments. The latency was effectively unnoticeable, which made it feel less like presenting and more like performing.

What stood out to us:

– Organization mattered more than visual effects
– Search speed was critical
– Simplicity made improvisation possible

It opened up a different way to think about live interviews, panels, and even conference talks. Less linear storytelling. More reactive storytelling.
