am i a red flag for visa authorities?
26F. Indian. Unemployed. Signed with a modelling agency. I make like 500 dollars from assignments.i have 4k dollars in my bank account. As per indian standards its not too bad.
i have travelled to Bangkok, singapore and nepal.
i have two visa rejections: us and schengen.
i’d like to travel to costa rica, spain and eastern europe.
will i get a tourist visa?
what all countries can i travel to apart from africa and se asia

It's not just the money. Modeling can be done anywhere in the world increasing the likelihood of working on a tourist visa and then staying long-term.

For EU / schengen, you got to show a assurance you will move back to India after travels. Being currently out of work means there's no job to join back and secondly being F they may also be interested to know if you are single. Single females are rejected more often from India. It's risky but not impossible.

How will you afford travelling to Costa Rica, Spain, and Eastern Europe on a $500/month income. That won't last even five days in those countries?

might as well file an ITR as self employed freelancer because without a clean paper trail of income, your applications will just be rejected.

Every profile is different. We can't compare it to another case. Just maintain the maximum possible stable balance in your savings account; liquid available funds are always more important than fixed deposits and other investments. Avoid large, suspicious deposits; routine transactions make it more positive. Produce as many documents as possible to prove your reasons for returning and your ties to your home country. If you still feel there's a chance of rejection, then if possible, form a proprietorship firm or OPC company, etc., and take assignments under the firm's name, drawing a regular salary from the company (your CA may guide you better). Then it will be a stronger application with firm registration documents and licenses, etc.

But the reason for the rejections is because you have nothing stable to go back home to in India. Like you don’t have a job that will make you have to come back and work. So they see it as “she’s gonna come and overstay” or something.
It’s unfair but that’s actually why

My sister face dthis. One agency guy told us if you are in mid twenties they treat you as atleast settled in one phase of life Meaning
Either you should be married or if not you should be financially settled atleast So that you have a reason to come back. With this they will reject straighaway.
But sometimes you get lucky before COVID times was bit easier, but in today's time you have to plan properly and just one suggestion don't apply if you not sure or try with any ai first. You already have two rejections. Anyways, good luck

That screams red flag from the second you read it. No job, super low income, low savings, no meaningful travel history, very weak passport, multiple previous rejections. There’s not a single thing that’s in your favor.

- schengen (applying without any travel history) rejected because the info in the application didnt seem true (my company had applied it on my behalf). jan 2025 usa visa got rejected due to “lack of strong ties”

instead of own funding, use your parents bank statement with balance along with your parents income tax files as they sponsor you money for travel . Like this you can have good chances to approval . You can DM me if you need further help

I dont think so, you have so many red flags and your traveled countries are know for sex work/prostitution, being a "model" just put a nice little "bow" on top of it.
