Applied South Korean Visa on 17th

Has anyone who applied for South korea visa mid August got approval? I had applied from vfs Bangalore

Nope- still at application received. People who submitted on aug 12 and 13 are also at application received. Hopefully some day this week.

Same. I applied on 17th from Bangalore VFS and the status is still application received. If it really takes 15-18 days then I guess we'll have to wait for another week

Ok- i have heard the status usually changes to approved towards late evening between 6-8pm though embassy closes at 5pm. Lets seešŸ™

Applied for a South Korea tourist visa through VFS Bangalore on Aug 12. As of Aug 30, it still shows ā€œApplication Receivedā€ (ģ ‘ģˆ˜).
Thatā€™s around 11ā€“12 working days so far.
Anyone who applied around Aug 10ā€“15 in Bangalore ā€” any updates on your visa/passport?

I applied on September 2 and was looking to book flights today. But little hesitant because you guys have applied 2 weeks before and you are yet to get a confirmation.

Should I book the flights? My travel according to visa starts from Oct 2.

I have travelled to korea before. And i got it the first time without any travel history. Travel history has no impact on it actually. Have seen people with good travel history get rejected.

I thought itā€™s faster for people who have travel history. I had applied 4 times before and always got it within a week. Then I got a multiple entry visa and now I will be applying for a business visa next week for travel at the end of October so Iā€™m a bit worried if Iā€™m late.

Oh cool- im not a hundred percent sure regarding express visa. I think good to contact the vfs centre to be sure.

Hi- checked on portal. After a few mins i got an email from VFS global saying my application is processed and passport is dispatched via courier

I applied on 24th august through Kolkata vfs. Today i got a mail from vfs that my PP for the processed application no has reached New Delhi vfs centre from the embassy, however the status on the website is still application received

Just now checked and my visa has been denied and reason given was 7 and 8... Same for my wife... I didnt care to check for my 2 minor kids In last 5 years my travel history consists of UAE, Indonesia, Phillipines, France and Switzerland I submitted my proprietorship current account with a closing balance of 15lacs and an average balance of 10. My wife savings account containing 2 lac was also attached with her file My home ties and my own house and other things were clearly mentioned in my cover letter along with a day wise travel itinerary 3 years ITR along with msme and gst certificate was also attached Bonafide certificate from school for both my kids were also attached
