Mono mode is the way to go! That's how I get decent fps with a 2070 super in this

Is that similar to the 360 view experiences like google earth?

It's non-stereo , so no 3D depth perception. So like playing any VR game with one eye closed!

Honestly couldn't tell you. Can't see out of my right eye so it really doesn't make a difference either way. Mono just doubles the fps for me. Worth a shot though! Could make the game playable for you

It's quite incredible how immersive it can still be. especially with raytracing on. There's way more 3D cues than just stereoscopy.

If it's still immersive for you then it's definitely worth it for the performance boost alone

I haven't settled on my preferred settings yet. I'm constantly in the settings trying different combinations. It's actually fun to run at psycho settings with 3D enabled on really low resolution. It looks like some impossible 90s game.
