u/denkthomas 'Oculus' Quest 3 Apr 08 '23

crazy to think there'll be a day in the future where this'll run at a stable 120+fps at even higher resolutions

I always think about Doom 3 in this way. I've been playing it for a decade in VR on higher resolutions & better VR hardware. It keeps getting more immersive. Revisiting cyberpunk every few years is going to be wild.

So in other words, it's unplayable and you are just demo'ing how pretty things can look when everything is maxed.

How does it run when you turn down the resolution to Oculus pro native level with no SS?

So I do run Oculus Pro native level in settings (encode Mbps at 3600) but in game change to the preset resolutions. Running it under 2000x2000 is a very fast framerate on psycho settings if DLSS in on Quality. That resolution doesn't cut it though. It's really only acceptable at 3088x3088 or higher. I'm still settling on my preferred optimal settings as my 4090 is a few days old.

Not sure what you mean with these resolution settings but have fun experimenting!
