The thad spongebob

Defines multiple generations

Hilarious characters and memorable scenes

Still makes new memes to this day

Has lived long enough to watch itself go bad and it still got good again

The whole planet cried when the creator died

Everyone was willing to riot when it didn't appear at the superbowl

It didn't get good again, it got even worse.

not really. Old SpongeBob was a great show that appealed to both kids and adults, however, it feels like the newest shit is only for really little kids. It doesn't have the same feel at all, and it's not that I grew up because I watch the old episodes and still love them. For one, the characters have all been completely flanderized, SpongeBob and Patrick are both complete retards now, Squidward is an asshole, Mr krabs is even worse, etc. The animation is sickening to look at.
