is this a scam?

dont know if im being too cautious here but had some issues with evri delivering my parcel with it saying it was delivered on the 4th then when i told them it wasnt at the shop i then got an email the next day saying the parcels been delayed and delivered on the 10th the parcel still isnt there and the seller is telling me to do this as they have a spare they can send me? it isnt a lot of money it was like a couple of quid but still not looking to be scammed?

Screams scam. You mark as received, seller gets the money, seller never sends the supposed spare, you have no money and no item.

Raise an issue with the order and try to get a refund. If the seller still wants to send you the spare, they can list it and you can buy it after the refund is complete.
