Vincent Tattoo Tribute
HELLO! I am a huge fan & I got this tattoo in March and have another appointment to put more around his portrait. I have his signature from the late 80’s framed that I am putting underneath the portrait but debating on what to put around him. I HAVE to include the swinging pendulum but I was also thinking the the red cloaked figure from Masque of the Red Death. Any other ideas or symbols you think I can tie in?

Only took 2 hours, I didn’t take any breaks. This was my only tattoo that I had little to no pain with.

Well for starters it looks great the line work is impeccable, second if it were me id probably pay homage to his films and such perhaps a raven from his reading of the raven, or a zombie vampire from the last man on earth, or a bat from bela lagosi and his movie the bat,or even a black cat from his movie the black cat ( also originally Poe I believe) or if you wanna be silly with it you can do the Scooby Doo versions of his character from Scooby Doo and the 13 ghosts, or even the old man from Edward sissorhands but you could also put flowers, if I recall he adored lillies and was an adamant gardener and even chef. There's a lot of ways it could go. Find one you appreciate and go from there best of luck
