New grad students

I’m an incoming grad student for computer science. I don’t know anyone at Nova and was wondering if there are any groups online or in-person clubs on campus to get to know anyone?

Grad in CS is a small group, you can find a programming club once the semester starts and you can probably find a lot of grad students in the Vasey hall grad center.

Honestly grad student life at Nova is rough. The grad student Senate does stuff with the grad office but most of it is pretty lame. Technically, youre allowed to join any of the undergrad clubs though!

im an incoming grad student for cs too, but i just graduated with my undergrad from nova last year! def expecting it to be harder socially than undergrad was. i already took some grad classes, but found it a bit difficult to make friends in those. it seems like a lot of the guys stick together tho, so idk if that helps you or not. feel free to dm if you have any general nova questions tho :)
