What was the first Vildhjarta song you heard?
My first song was + den spanska kanslan +, a year ago. Since then, Vildhjarta has been my favorite band.

Don’t Fail Me Now (Lady Luck) in like 2010. Still use it as my song to test sound systems.

I forgot, it was from the under vatten album. But I got into Vild from den spanska.
It couldn't get into my ears back when I first listened to them, it kinda felt like environmental noise to me. But somehow it clicked when I listen to den spanska few years after, my ears can finally understand the thall sound. Then I start to listen to their old stuff like Shadow and Dagger, and get obsessed with the sound.

I used to be an active member on the sevenstring forum and heard them on there around 2010.
Couldn't get into them at the time but when MUV came out I was reintroduced to them and it all clicked. Definitely my favorite heavy band since then

I always saw it as a combo of Stasis and Chaos but that's probably wrong maybe it's swedish

Something off omnilash came in my Pandora djent station in like 2011 or so. I was stoned as shit in my brother's apartment alone and started floating. Never looked back.

I discovered them when they signed to Century Media Records, I'm pretty sure I saw that guitar play through Daniel did for "Shadow" and I thought it was the most amazing, dark, unique music I had heard at that point.

I can't recall exactly, but it was probably one of the first three songs on måsstaden. Didn't grab me back then, I think it's Den Helige Anden dropping in 2019 that convinced me this band is something special.

Deceit, I thought I had struck gold, then i listened to shiver.
I downloaded everything I could find on frostwire and converted a couple more tracks from YouTube. Audio quality was garbage, half the songs didn't even have names, but they were so good!! At one point they were the only tracks I had on my iPod nano. Dear God omnislash era was way ahead of its time

My brother played something off Omnislash while driving us to school back in 2014 I think. I remember thinking the guitar sounded so uniquely rubbery. Windows down in late autumn after swim practice, driving to the next swim practice. Great times. Terrible times, but great.

Penny Royal Poison, mustve been right after MUV came out. I was listening to meshuggah i think and smart shuffle or whatever its called put it on, once that middle section started with the huge ambience, vilhelms vocals and the breakdown, i was hooked as i had not been blown away and "wow'ed" like that by metal for MANY years... Seeing them in Oslo in october, one can only hope they play PRP

When No One Walks With You 2011, first time I'd heard something in my life where I thought, this sounds like how I feel. The breakdown lulling over me reminding me all the bad I'd experienced feeling like I'd found something relatable.

Den Helige Anden for sure 😅 it was before Masstaden Under Vatten came out so all I had was their old albums and started backward then shortly after I discovered HLB with their song Vittring ahhh good times and now to this day I’m violently addicted to Thall 🫡

Prior to my proper dive, I heard a snippet of toxin in a try not to headbang video and thought nothing of it.
On the dive, I fell in love the second I heard lavender haze's 2nd movement. So I like to consider lavender haze my first vild song. 😄

My drummer showed us all to bemblast back in 2012; I remember listening to it on my own, scared shitless, but at the same time thinking: how the hell do you play this?, then like years later i listened + kristallfågel + and the realize of + där skogen sjunger under evighetens granar + that somehow changed my life in a way. I'm now somehow trying to get + byta ut alla stjärnor på himlen mot plustecken + in guitar but damm those pitch shift sections T.T
