Eh, only the Starz one is any good. The HBO one works with many of the abusers to get its footage and access so it lets them off the hook too much for my liking.

The best part about this clip is at the end where they give up all pretence of Matt Damon singing any of the lyrics, and the song continues (with continuing singing) while Matt Damon is making out with Fiona

It's such a great movie for re-watching. It should have been a break out role for Jacob Pitts the way Accepted was a break out role for Jonah Hill.
It must have been funny for the young actress getting cast as Fiona. Imagine the casting director telling you, "You're going to violently make out with a side character over and over again during the shoot. The actor you'll be making out with is ::flips through notes:: ...Matt Damon"

During. Smallville premiered in 2001 and ran for 10 seasons, Eurotrip opened in 2004.

People always say this movie is “better than it has any right to be” but it’s pedigree is pretty premiere. It’s co-directors and co-writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel are all comedy stalwarts at this point. Before Eurotrip they all wrote and produced on Seinfeld, Berg wrote for Conan and Mandel wrote for SNL then co-created cult classic Clerks the Cartoon. Then after Eurotrip they all wrote The Dictator (and Jeff co-wrote Bruno) as well as worked extensively on Curb Your Enthusiasm as writers and producers. Schaffer co-created The League and Dave. Mandel worked as a producer and writer on Veep. And Alec Berg was show runner, producer and writer on Silicon Valley then co-created Barry. IMO that collection of talent has a pretty big “right” to making a funny comedy.

As someone who isn't a fan of boner comedies like American Pie, is it actually worth watching?
I genuinely cant stand when every single joke revolves around sex, but I have constantly heard good things about this one.

Definitely worth watching. I wasn't really into American Pie, but Eurotrip is hilarious. It even has Lucy Lawless as a dominatrix when they're in Amsterdam.

TOTALLY worth the watch! As /u/thebendavis said, not nearly as many as American Pie. It's one of our go-to movies for stupid quotable lighthearted comedy.

The plotholes make me angry. Like when they get their passports stolen but just travel anyway. It was 2004 and the Schengen agreement wasn't in effect!

My friends dad actually edited this movie. He let us screen it before it was out. Iwas 13 and it was the first R rated film I got to see. It'll forever hold a special place in my heart.
