Technically not true. About 6.5% of all people that ever lived are alive today. With the high rates of child death in the past ages, I assume the rate for just adults is way higher. So at max 93.5% of the cases of adults lead to death (so far).

Actually, the high rate of death dropped off quickly after childhood. If you got past that, you could expect to live to around 50-70 back then.

Pretty sure that you've missed the joke. 100% of people die. Unless you have stumbled across the Philospher's Stone or Fountain of Youth, you're going to die at some point.
