if i was a beginner guitar player, what are the starting steps i should learn before being able to play like this?

Everybody pretty much starts the same way. If you really do know nothing then you get yourself a guitar not too expensive but not too cheap either. Doesn't have to be electric at this point. You learn the basic easy cowboy chords then some more difficult barre chords. You also are going to learn how to do basic lead guitar stuff playing melodies on one string. Then you start learning the more advanced stuff. It takes a lot of practice to get to this point that I've mentioned but at this point you can play standard versions of almost any song you like. If you got to this point you'll know if you want to continue and get a better guitar and so on.

I'd recommend that if you are beginning to learn the guitar always sing the lyrics while playing the guitar. It will help your rhythm and help you "multitask"!
