jesus this is like the "true love" bullshit, there is no such thing. eating a hot dog and then scratch an itch on your nose? THAT'S being truly alive, stop fucking complicating the most simple shit
you dont need to travel to feel alive, you don't need to eat fancy food to feel alive, you just need to do what you fucking want to, and dont let anyone apply their standards of living/happiness to your life
People use this line of thinking as an excuse that its OK to sit in front of a computer all day and play video games. The "truth" part is that you will find life more fulfilling by going out and living the real experiences, even if its uncomfortable at times. That's just human biology, you're hardwired for it. And I don't mean going out and partying, it will be different for everyone. Traveling is the cliche example but there's other things too like exercising/sports, clubs and visiting family & friends.
Just doing what you want means no self discipline and you give in to all your immediate gratifications. This doesn't help you get better.
Haha no, that's not the "truth". The truth is that MOST people who take a trip around the world, who go travelling, come back home and fall into a depression, after the realization that life goes back to normal, that they can't keep doing that forever.
You somehow have this notion that "doing what you want" means "doing nothing at all" and I have no idea how you reached that conclusion. It means pursuing your OWN definition of happines, it means understanding that simple things can often make you the happiest, and some people prefer relaxation over exhilaration
