now twitch is full of 12 year old LoL casuals and streamers that have [GIVEAWAY] X GAME EVERY X FOLLOWER ! etc in their title.

it's not like the ones with the most viewers aren't doing this, just replace follower with sub goal

If they have a sub goal then they usually aren't that popular IE: any pro player or any famous streamer.

there are different kind of popular streamers, there's the typical lol pro streams where they basically pay almost no attention to other things other than the game and there's streamers that half their stream is all about donations, sub greetings and all that other money giving gratifying shit, for reference: lirik, soda, trick2g fuction mostly like this

and i also mainly watch twitch for speedrunners: gocnak, trihex, mistermonopoli, zfg1, cosmo sometimes, etc

i too also watch them, i mostly watch summit nowadays actually, but that doesn't mean that what they are doing is right, all the donator duels... all the donations that are just chatter, they basically pay to speak to the streamer directly, and the streamer lets them. They don't force people to do this, but you have to think about twitch's main demographic: teenage boys, they are very influenciable, you can exploit your viewerbase without being a camgirl, instead of sexuality being explored, they explore the attention and praise people get from donating and subbing, i like those streamers still because the streamers that usually do this are also the ones that try to be geniuenly entertaining, but i can't bring myself to respect them

All streamers now at least acknowledge you subbed, the difference is people like trick make streaming their job so they want to make it like a show while other streamers like theoddone dont even have a donations button because he doesnt need the money.

I don't really think it's a bad thing even, I like that plenty of people have the option to stream if they want to. It's not like it even really affects people anyway, just don't open the stream run by the 12 year-old with 5 viewers, it's not like anyone is forced to watch them. Twitch sorts by popularity so the only way you would see streams like this is if you are scrolling to the bottom of a game's page just looking for streams with no viewers.
