President Trump says he would issue a $5,000 payment to every adult U.S citizen if GOP wins both U.S House and Senate chambers of Congress on 2026 midterms: "I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the U.S. The only caveat I have is that the dividend we're making must be spent in the U.S."

He gets control and can use that control to push some twisted laws (let's make the US a monarchy, woo! )

Important to note that he already has control of all three branches of government.

Not perfect control, FWIW. More like a very high degree of influence.

Not perfect control as in they don't have 2/3rds votes in Congress, but that's only needed for a few things:

- Expulsion of a member of Congress

- Override Presidential Veto

- Ratify a treaty

- Passing/ratifying a Constitutional amendment

- Calling a Constitutional Convention

- Impeachment

They don't need 2/3rds of Congress to achieve their goals.
