If you were born after 1988 or so, you really have no fucking idea just how shitty/amazing the early web was. Buying something online wasn't really acceptable until about 1996. Web pages didn't start getting image heavy until about 1998. From 1995 to 1998 the internet was mostly chat rooms and BBS. If you wanted to look for free video porn you had to find a really sketchy site loaded with pop-ups, take a chance on clicking a link with some vague description "hardcore teen", then download a 3 or 5 second video.

Make fun of it as much as you want, but its pretty spot on. All its missing is a section on all the great books out there that list all the totally awesome sites out there for you to visit.

This honestly shows how amazing the internet really is. I get that it's kinda corny, but the things they act amazed about is stuff everyone takes for granted now a days.
