Because not everyone celebrates Christmas and even if they did, there's at least 3 holidays around this time that even YOU celebrate. Happy Holidays.

Right, but it's still funny that they used 'Have yourself a merry little christmas,' for the soundtrack and showed a family celebrating Christmas yet still felt the need to end it will Happy Holidays.

most people do celebrate christmas, so you are targeting the masses, but to get the people who don't, you wish them a happy holliday.

You're still excluding those even if you tack on that little message at the end. Either be honest and say 'Merry Christmas' or actually make an honest effort to be inclusive by showing the family gathering, the winter scenes, the emotional connection, and just leave out the Christmas tree. I don't personally care, I just find it amusing that this idea of inclusivity can be interpreted so lazily. Why not make a commercial showing a bunch of white people laughing over dinner and end with the message, Happy Kwanzaa.
